This trip can run from November to January in order to guarantee the sighting of the Resplendent Quetzal in full plumage

Costa Rica is a country located in Central America that is ranked as one of the most visited international destinations. One of Costa Rica's main sources of income is tourism. Costa Rica is a democratic and peaceful country and it has not had an army since the year 1948.

The presence of beaches, rainforests, waterfalls, and volcanoes in the country also make it one of the best places in the world to witness natural scenery.

 

Price includes

  • transfer to and from the airport to the hotel in San Jose, lodging in twin double bedrooms, meals as detailed in the itinerary, two birding guides (Sue Riffe plus a local Costa Rican guide), private vehicle, local guides at La Selva and Quetzales National Park, and all entrance fees.

Price does not include

  • drinks, laundry, tipping, additional meals, extra hotel nights, day use room before flying home, anything not mentioned in the itinerary.
